Parental Alienation Advocates (PA-A.org) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fostering education, advocacy, and support for individuals grappling with the distressing impact of parental alienation, estrangement, erasure, and family disconnection. We offer free support to families struggling with these debilitating pathologies. We currently have a free 12-step support group online offering 19 meetings a week. A powerful weekly podcast FAMILY DISAPPEARED where we talk to professionals and parents, grandparents and previously or currently alienated folks. Plus a plethora of other free resources.

Pain is the spiritual foundation for all personal growth and service (volunteering) is one of the best paths through the pain” If you are struggling and don’t know how to move through your emotional, spiritual and physical pain, volunteering in our community is a great way to get relief, contribute and build a sustainable community.
All our services are free and will remain so. We rely on grants and our community to support all our programs. We never want there to be a financial barrier to accessing our services. Please consider donating $50 a month to help support the community.
We are committed to offering a holistic approach that addresses the diverse dimensions of the struggles associated with parental alienation. While we are not exclusively a 12-step organization, we proudly incorporate a 12-step support group program as part of our multifaceted efforts. PAA’s 12-step support group provides a safe haven for families enduring the effects of this complex pathology. Inspired by the principles of the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, our meetings have been thoughtfully adapted from Al-Anon’s structure and literature.

We’re a community of parents, grandparents, children, aunts, uncles and family members struggling with disconnection, alienation, estrangement and erasure from our kids, grandkids and families lives. WE are a recovery based community. We believe that healing ourselves emotionally and spiritually gives us the greatest opportunity to be the best people, grandparents and parents we can be.
