About us

We are a grassroots 501(C)3 nonprofit established to help all family members struggling with parental alienation, estrangement and erasure.

We offer a holistic approach that addresses the diverse dimensions of the struggles associated with these pathologies.

We offer a free 12-step support group program as part of our multifaceted efforts. All meetings are volunteer run but provide a safe consistent framework to support personal growth and safety.

We have a podcast, ‘Family Disappeared’, that addresses all of the struggles we face. Parents, grandparents, and previously alienated folks speak about their experience in dealing with and healing of the effects of this challenging pathology.

We offer a plethora of other free resources, including ‘The Family Hope Project’, our virtual advocacy art gallery, which aims to educate people and all stakeholders in this space.

Community centered support:

So many of us have tried to navigate this intricate landscape of trauma, allied professionals and our families alone, and have found this unbearable. We believe that community support is the way to healing and creating an environment where our voices can be heard. With community support we can create lasting change within our family systems and the systems at large.

Foundational trainings:

We believe that educating all stakeholders is the path to global change. In order to that we need to start with ourselves the family members that are alienated, estranged and erased. My cultivating new approaches to communication, emotional literacy, meditation, advocacy, self agency and understanding the this dynamic landscape we give ourselves and our loved ones the best chance to heal.

Social Media Policy

Parental Alienation Advocates Social Media Policy:

Parental Alienation Advocates recognizes the critical role that social media plays in engaging with our community and raising awareness about parental alienation and its impact on families. As stewards of our online presence, we have implemented a comprehensive social media policy to guide our interactions across various platforms, including Facebook (group and page), Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and future channels as the need arises.

  1. Organizationally Run Platforms: Our social media channels are managed and operated collectively by Parental Alienation Advocates and are intended to represent the organization as a whole rather than individual members. Content posted reflects the organization’s values, mission, and initiatives across different pillars, including the Family Disappeared Podcast, Parental Alienation Anonymous, the 12-step program, foundational training, and advocacy work.
  2. Anonymity vs. Organizational Voice: While some posts may be attributed to individuals within the organization, it is important to note that anonymity is not a primary concern on our platforms. We aim to maintain a cohesive organizational voice that aligns with our overarching objectives and messaging, ensuring consistency and clarity in our communications.
  3. Diverse Content and Engagement: Our social media strategy encompasses a diverse range of content, including educational resources, personal stories, event promotions, and updates on our advocacy efforts. We encourage active engagement from our community members, fostering meaningful discussions and connections around the topic of parental alienation.
  4. Platform Expansion: As our outreach and impact expand, we remain open to exploring additional social media platforms that can effectively amplify our message and reach a wider audience. New platforms will be integrated strategically based on the evolving needs and preferences of our community.
  5. Transparency and Accountability: To uphold our commitment to transparency and accountability, we adhere to best practices in social media management, including clear attribution of posts, responsiveness to inquiries and feedback, and regular monitoring of engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of our communication strategies.

By adhering to these guidelines and principles, Parental Alienation Advocates endeavors to leverage social media as a powerful tool for advocacy, support, and education within the parental alienation community. Our platforms are a reflection of our dedication to promoting awareness, fostering healing, and advocating for change in the realm of parental alienation.
